Ned Morgens, Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Ned Morgens is the founder and CEO of the Skylark Senior Care. Since bringing adult day health to Johns Creek in 2006, the Skylark Senior Care team has opened a second center and a home care agency.

He has served as chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Adult Day Services Association, as president of the Georgia Adult Day Services Association, and as a delegate to the 2005 White House Conference on Aging.

He received his MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, his Master of Divinity from the Princeton Theological Seminary, and his bachelor’s degree from Colgate University.

He is married to Kate Morgens, a former Broadway actress and current theatre educator and director at The Westminster Schools. They have two young sons, Drew and James.

Joseph Ben-Dor, Executive Director

Joseph Ben-Dor has served as Skylark’s executive director since 2006. A native of Israel, he was a nurse in the neurosurgery department at Rambam Hospital. After arriving in the United States, his 30-year career started in an Atlanta adult day care center, and includes being the executive director of an assisted living facility.

He feels it is very important for seniors to stay active and engaged with creative activities and wonderful friends, and adult day centers provide the perfect atmosphere for this engagement.

He resides in Roswell with his family and pets.

Carolanne Plummer, LPN, Director of Intake and Assessment

Carolanne Plummer, LPN, is the director of intake and assessment and has been with Skylark since 2007. Since becoming a licensed practical nurse in 1990, she has worked in a variety of senior care settings, including 12 years as an intensive care nurse.

She finds it rewarding to help families care for their aging loved ones so that they may continue to live safely and happily in their own homes.

She lives in Cumming with her husband, Chris. They have two daughters, Emily and Hannah Grace, and two dogs, Honey and Moose.

Tina Webb, Director, New Member Services

Tina Webb is the Director of New Member Services for Skylark Senior Care. She brings with her a passion for helping families find a great care solution for their senior loved ones.

Most recently she has worked with physicians and hospitals in a career focused on marketing, public relations, and business development. She has worked primarily with Fortune 500 companies.

A native of New York’s Capital district she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a Minor in Marketing from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.

Her interests include travel, real estate and opportunities in aiding and assisting others in need along with working with community organizations.
